So fun, glad we stumbled onto this place. After a walk on the Coronado beach, we decided to head south to IB. We checked out the menu on Google, as soon as I saw ossobuco taco I was sold. Parking in the lot by the restaurant was 2 bucks, score! It's a cash lot only FYI, and the lot was pretty dead despite the beach and boardwalk being full of people on a Friday evening. The restaurant is mostly outdoors, and they have upper patio seating to take in the view, the restaurant is super close to the shore. The entire staff was friendly, smiling, and so attentive. My husband tried a Japanese beer and he loved it, I got the Pina colada slushy, which was pretty good. But the tacos were out of this world, the ossobuco did not disappoint, so tender, so flavorful, and I think most of their tacos have that fried cheese in them. I also ordered a fish taco which was really crisp and fresh, but my husband's fried shrimp taco was unexpected. The shrimp was wrapped taquito-style then fried before added to the taco and dressed, crazy. Carne asada was tender and so well marinated, i could have eaten a plate of just that. We also had the sharable quesadilla which I highly recommend, the asadero cheese was fried and caramelized before it was put into the tortilla, which was also lightly grilled, it was mouthwatering! Two tacos each, a sharable quesadilla, and two drinks was like 55 bucks. I will be back, can't wait to try the carnitas taco.

We visited this place on a long weekend while camping around. Loved their all vegan/ vegetarian tacos. I was on a strict diet but still couldn’t resist to have these twice within two days. My favorite was zuchini taco with capers and olives out of all. Highly recommend. We totally loved the outdoor vibes with bit of sun and games The Salas’s are the best too :)

Incredible tacos at a great price. Came in on a cold Sunday afternoon tired and hungry. The restaurant is part of the brewery, so we were able to order at the bar. Service was fast, and we got our tacos in less than 5 minutes. Simply put, they were exquisite, and truly exceeded our expectations. My highest recommendation goes to this restaurant.

Welcome to the vibrant world of Quiero Restaurants, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Imperial Beach, California. Located at 805 Ocean Lane, this establishment offers patrons a delightful fusion of flavors in a cozy, beachside atmosphere. As you step inside, you are greeted by a welcoming decor that enhances the chill vibe and complements the stunning views of the ocean from the second-floor seating.

Quiero is renowned for its creative and mouthwatering menu, featuring standout items like the Scallop Dreams Taco — flambéed scallops nestled in a flour tortilla, elegantly topped with Mexican squash, green onions, bacon, and cotija cheese for just $5.75. Another must-try is the City Zucchini, a golden-fried zucchini taco finished with a vibrant mix of caramelized onions, cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, black beans, and corn, all drizzled with lime aioli and paired with grilled asadero cheese for only $3.50. And for those who appreciate a heartier bite, the Shank You Taco showcases slow-cooked, delectable beef.

The charm of Quiero extends beyond the plates. Customers rave about the exceptional service and the inviting atmosphere, where families and pets are warmly welcomed. Just ask Volodymyr Korsun, who described his experience as “super nice,” enjoying craft tacos along with a refreshing glass of draft beer. The positive vibes are infectious, with a relaxed outdoor seating area that invites diners to linger and soak in the coastal scenery.

Whether you’re indulging in the ossobuco taco — a crowd favorite known for its tender, flavorful meat — or savoring the delightful vegan options like the zucchini taco praised by Arushi, there is something on the menu for everyone. For those wishing to share, the sharable quesadilla takes asadero cheese to new heights, being fried and caramelized before nestled into a lightly grilled tortilla, leaving diners in bliss.

The affordability of Quiero’s offerings is another highlight, with delectable tacos and creative drinks (like their Pina colada slushy) that won't break the bank. Seth M found the tacos to exceed expectations, with fast service making it an ideal stop for a quick bite or a leisurely meal after a beach day.

In conclusion, Quiero Restaurants is more than just a dining spot; it’s an experience steeped in great food, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere. The culinary creativity of their taco offerings combined with the oceanfront charm makes for an unforgettable culinary adventure. Bring your friends, indulge in delectable tacos, and create lasting memories at Quiero Restaurants.
